About The Position
This is a part-time, seasonal position responsible for maintaining outdoor rink and warming house rules and regulations and ensuring skaters’ safety and enjoyment. The position runs from late December 2026 through mid-February 2027, depending on weather. Hours are Monday–Friday, 4–8 p.m.; Saturday, 1–9 p.m.; and Sunday, 1–7 p.m.
Requirements
- Must be 16 years of age or older.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to perform physical duties, make decisions, solve problems, and use common sense.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and control skaters.
- Oversee the warming house building and skating rink operation.
- Open and close the warming house building.
- Operate rink lights.
- Record daily attendance of facility users.
- Keep the building clean.
- Report accidents, injuries, or property damage in the skating area to the supervisor.
