About The Position
The City of St. Anthony is hiring seasonal Ice Rink Attendants to help operate its outdoor skating rinks during the winter season. The position begins in December and typically continues through the end of February, weather permitting. Attendants open and close the warming house, supervise the warming house and skating rinks, and help provide a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for the public. Work hours vary according to availability, weather, holidays, and school winter breaks. Shifts are assigned based on availability. Skating is not required.
Requirements
- Must be 16 years or older to apply.
- Must have a positive attitude and a desire to work with and engage with the public.
- Must be available to work assigned shifts, which may include weekday evenings, Saturday shifts, and Sunday afternoons and evenings.
Responsibilities
- Open and close the warming house.
- Supervise the warming house and skating rinks.
- Help provide a safe, welcoming, and fun environment for everyone to enjoy.
