About The Position

Paradis Los Angeles is hiring an Ice Cream Production Team Member to join our amazing team. This role focuses primarily on making our fresh ice cream daily, following Paradis recipes and production procedures. In addition to ice cream production, team members assist with scooping, preparing milkshakes, serving guests after opening, maintaining a clean workspace, and creating a welcoming experience for our customers. Paradis Ice Cream produces high-quality, freshly made ice cream daily using Danish recipes and natural ingredients. You will be part of a brand story that began in Aarhus, Denmark, and expanded to the United States, where craftsmanship and fresh production remain at the heart of everything we do.

Requirements

• Minimum age requirement: 21 years old.
• Ability to lift moderately heavy objects and ingredient containers.
• Comfortable working on your feet in a fast-paced environment for extended periods.
• Willingness to work in both warm kitchen areas and cold freezer environments.
• Ability to follow recipes and production procedures carefully.
• Receiving and organizing inventory and ingredients.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and food safety practices.
• Excellent customer service skills are highly valued.
• Friendly, positive, and outgoing personality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience with food preparation or cash handling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Produce fresh ice cream daily according to Paradis recipes and production procedures.
• Measure and prepare ingredients accurately for ice cream batches.
• Operate ice cream production equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain strict food safety and sanitation standards during production.
• Assist with scooping ice cream and serving customers after opening hours.
• Deliver efficient, friendly, and exceptional customer service.
• Maintain product knowledge and explain our ice cream flavors and ingredients to guests.
• Prepare milkshakes, coffee beverages, and other Paradis menu items when needed.
• Process transactions, including cash and card payments, and provide accurate change.
• Restock ice cream, ingredients, supplies, and merchandise as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, prep areas, and retail space.
• Follow all Paradis operational procedures and safety guidelines.
• Assist with receiving and organizing inventory deliveries.
• Perform other assigned duties as required.
