About The Position

Magnum Ice Cream Company is seeking a dynamic and innovative Brand Manager to lead the development of an innovation funnel for both the Club customer and Out-of-Home channel (Value, Drug, and Convenience) sectors. This role will involve assessing the fit of our current portfolio, including iconic brands such as Popsicle, Klondike, Good Humor, Magnum, Talenti, and Yasso, and identifying new ideas to drive growth and consumer engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a robust innovation funnel tailored for the Club customer.
  • Create and implement an innovation funnel for Out-of-Home channel, focusing on value, drug, and convenience sectors.
  • Evaluate the current portfolio of brands (Popsicle, Klondike, Good Humor, Magnum, Talenti, Yasso) to ensure alignment with market needs and opportunities.
  • Identify gaps and opportunities within the existing portfolio to drive innovation.
  • Identify and develop new product ideas for both the club and out-of-home channels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring new ideas to life, from concept to commercialization.
  • Revamp out of home with the new Magnum Ice Cream company identity.
  • Work closely with the Global team to step up how our brands show up in Out of Home, implement new tactics for visibility, breakthrough and communication.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative consumer research to understand triggers and barriers within the club and out-of-home channels.
  • Lead consumer learning initiatives to gather insights and assess the potential of new ideas.
  • Utilize consumer demographic data to identify opportunities and develop an optimal new product mix.
  • Stay abreast of market trends, competitive landscape, and consumer preferences to inform innovation strategies.
  • Leverage market data and insights to drive strategic decision-making and innovation planning.
  • Work closely with marketing, R&D, supply chain, and sales teams to ensure seamless execution of innovation projects.
  • Partner with procurement and supply chain teams to manage capacity, identify contract manufacturers, and pursue import opportunities where relevant.
