The role combines RF characterization, semiconductor testing, wafer probing, test automation, software development, troubleshooting, and data analysis. The engineer works hands-on in a laboratory with custom-built test stations and measurement equipment, collaborating with design and process engineering teams to support product development and manufacturing schedules.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in RF characterization of active and passive components.
  • Experience measuring RF parameters such as reflection coefficient, matching, TOI, P1dB, and noise figure.
  • Hands-on experience with electronic test and measurement equipment, such as vector network analyzers, signal sources or generators, and spectrum analyzers.
  • Experience with wafer-probe calibration and on-wafer integrated-circuit measurements.
  • Programming proficiency in at least one of C#, C++/.NET, C, or the Visual Studio development environment.
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
  • Relevant thesis work and/or industry experience in millimeter-wave IC characterization.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience automating electrical tests.
  • Strong C#, .NET, and Visual Studio programming experience.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in IC testing.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor device physics and manufacturing processes.
