About The Position

The M&A Investment Banking Associate for the KBW Investment Banking Financial Services Group develops financial models and related valuation analysis for both public and private offerings. This role plays a critical part in managing the deal process from origination to close, developing integrated financial models and valuation analyses, and participating in M&A, corporate finance (debt, public, and private equity), and restructuring assignments. The associate will also prepare valuations, write memorandums, conduct M&A analyses, and participate in due diligence and drafting sessions. Additionally, the role involves mentoring junior staff and managing multiple projects and transactions concurrently.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
3-5 years post-undergraduate work experience in investment banking or a related field
Strong ability to work in an entrepreneurial culture
Ability to manage, from start to finish, financing and M&A transactions
Excellent analytical, modeling, and client management skills
Exercises good judgment in assessing risks and rewards of new business opportunities
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
