About The Position

Our client, a full-service investment bank with more than 125 years of history and a global platform spanning securities brokerage, trading, research, underwriting, and corporate advisory services, is seeking a Vice President to join their Investment Banking team in New York, focused on the Diversified Industrials & Services sector. This role suits a strategic thinker with a strong background in complex financial transactions — a self-starter ready to work hard in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects at once. Experience leading sell-side M&A transactions is required.

Requirements

• Experience leading sell-side M&A transactions is required
• Bachelor's degree required
• 3–6 years of investment banking experience
• FINRA licenses required: SIE, Series 79, Series 63
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Solid analytical and problem-solving ability
• Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative style

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of M&A, recapitalizations, and capital raises (debt and equity) transactions
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, managing relationships and delivering financial solutions
• Oversee the development of detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and presentations
• Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture
• Contribute to business development efforts, identifying and pursuing client opportunities
• Build sector expertise and represent the firm at industry events and client meetings
