About The Position
WECTEC Staffing Services, a subsidiary of Westinghouse Electric Company LLC, is seeking an I&C Technician for a contract role to support fall outage work. The position is onsite at a nuclear plant, reporting to the I&C Supervisor and onsite management. The role involves performing instrumentation testing, interpreting drawings, operating test equipment, and adhering to quality, health, and safety procedures.
Requirements
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent job experience.
- Field cable installation work.

- 2+ years of similar work experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform instrumentation testing using digital multi-meters, oscilloscopes, and customer supplier equipment/simulators.
- Interpret drawings and implement test procedures.
- Operate electronic and electrical test equipment.
- Read and follow drawings, blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, or engineering instructions for assemble/testing electronics units, applying knowledge of basic electronic theory and components.
- Learn, understand, and practice the appropriate quality, health, and safety procedures applicable to each work assignment.
