About The Position

HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is seeking Hydroblasting Technicians based in Baytown to work at various customer locations. The role supports water treatment system setup, pipeline hydrostatic testing, and other industrial cleaning work. The HydroBlaster/Field Technician represents HPC-Industrial and helps maintain ongoing working relationships with clients and customers. This position is also presented as an opportunity for transitioning military personnel to apply their skills and training in civilian work.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid TWIC.
• Valid driver’s license and compliance with company driving-policy requirements when driving a company vehicle or using a personal vehicle for company business.
• Ability to understand English sufficiently to comprehend safety training and respond to emergency instructions.
• Specific vocational preparation, including classroom safety training, on-the-job training, and essential experience gained on other jobs.
• Knowledge of how to operate emergency equipment, such as fire extinguishers.
• OSHA certification may be required.
• TWIC may be required for the work described; the role title and qualifications specify TWIC required/valid TWIC.

Responsibilities

• Follow company health and safety policies and processes, and act safely at all times.
• Operate manual and automated hydroblasting equipment.
• Operate specialized equipment, including ultra-high-pressure pumps.
• Operate pumping equipment and specialized hydroblasting or chemical-cleaning equipment, vacuum trucks, and cutting equipment used on jobs.
• Examine cleaned surfaces when required to ensure they meet company and customer expectations.
• Perform routine and required maintenance on the unit, peripherals, industrial vacuuming equipment, and other company equipment used on the job.
• Dispose of hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Represent HPC-Industrial while developing and maintaining working relationships with clients and customers.
