About The Position

We're a 100% employee-owned company looking to add an experienced Hydraulic Repairs Leader to our team. As a Hydraulic Repairs Leader, your impact is two-fold: For the customer, your goal is to create a superb customer experience by overseeing the timely, accurate completion of hydraulic repairs, industrial pump and tool work, and gearbox service, while standardizing communication and ensuring every job meets our quality standards. For the team, your goal is to develop and lead your technicians through strong scheduling, prioritization, and process improvement. You'll drive efficiency across the department, manage resources and inventory, and create an environment where your people can grow their potential and impact.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of related production and managerial experience
  • Ability to read and interpret hydraulic schematics and technical drawings.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a solution-focused approach.
  • Ability to apply sound judgment and problem-solve in standardized and fluid situations.
  • Ability to obtain forklift certification.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop hydraulic repair technicians through scheduling, prioritizing, and assigning work.
  • Oversee all repairs activities including process improvement, resource planning, and on-time, accurate project completion.
  • Review, develop, and maintain departmental policies and processes to maximize efficiency and customer experience.
  • Manage all repairs-related supplies, parts procurement, and inventory.
  • Operate within the agreed-upon departmental budget.
  • Read and understand hydraulic schematics and general arrangement drawings for troubleshooting and equipment assembly.
  • Oversee troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment; communicate findings and repair approvals with customers.
  • Follow and enforce all ISO and safety shop procedures.
  • Perform all standard supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
