About The Position

This role is responsible for repairing products returned by customers. The technician will troubleshoot and repair various electrical products used in the Dental industry, including ultrasonic cleaners, LED curing lights, sterilizing ovens, high-frequency electro-surgical devices, and dental scalers. The position involves performing acceptance testing after repairs, documenting work, and utilizing schematics, drawings, and test procedures. Troubleshooting will be conducted using various electrical meters, scopes, high voltage leak detection equipment, and other devices. Requirements

• Associate's degree (A. A,) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, six months to one year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers, sales reps and employees
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with abstract and concrete variables
• Previous experience is electronics build or repair with the ability to read and understand electronic schematics.
• Capable of identifying various components such as; capacitors, fuses, transformers, resistors, etc.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair an assortment of electrical products used in the Dental industry such as; Ultra sonic cleaners, LED curing lights, Sterilizing ovens, High Frequency Electro Surgical device, and Dental Scalers.
• Perform acceptance testing of product after repair and associated documentation.
• Work with schematics, drawings and test procedures.
• Employ troubleshooting techniques in repair activities using various electrical meters, scopes, high voltage leak detection equipment, and other devices.
