About The Position

The Hydraulic Fracturing Service Supervisor in Training (SSIT) can operate all equipment on site and train other equipment operators how to operate and maintain the equipment efficiently and safely.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate mastery of all responsibilities and duties of the Hydraulic Fracturing Equipment Operator 4
  • Minimum 1 year of oilfield experience
  • Ability to perform basic math skills
  • Clear communication skills, including the ability to read, write, and speak English preferred
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions promptly and accurately
  • Able to safely operate and maintain assigned equipment during a 12+ hour work shift that will include days or nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Able to perform duties safely in all weather conditions
  • Must be able to work closely with others and under time-sensitive deadlines which may include emergency response situations

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily inspection of all equipment
  • Train new operators on hydraulic fracturing equipment, maintenance responsibilities, and safety protocols
  • Direct the operators on assigned duties and maintenance to equipment
  • Interface with customers and third-party vendors who may be on site
  • Enforce safety policies and practices at a higher standard
  • Supervise equipment operators and willing to step in with assistance as needed
  • Spot equipment for other operators and drivers
  • Maintain and enforce compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies
  • Other duties as assigned
