About The Position

Calfrac is seeking dedicated and safety-minded individuals to join our Fracturing department in Red Deer as Operators in Training (OIT). This program offers entry-level opportunities within our field operating teams and includes paid Class 1 Mandatory Entry Level Training (MELT), guaranteed base compensation, and a competitive job revenue bonus. Upon successful completion of the OIT program and all associated training, you will be promoted to an Operator status and become a qualified oil field operator. The role requires working outside in all weather conditions with a diverse team and assisting with shop maintenance as needed, while strictly adhering to all Health, Safety, and Environment policies and procedures.

Requirements

Must live and work in Red Deer, AB
Valid Alberta Class 3 or 5 driver’s license – No GDL and satisfactory Drivers Abstract
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Experience operating a manual transmission preferred
Previous industry related experience preferred

Responsibilities

Complete all requirements of the Operator in Training (OIT) program
Assist maintenance in the shop as required
Follow all Health, Safety, and Environment policies & procedures
Work outside in all weather conditions with a diverse team
