About The Position
Calfrac is seeking hard-working Operators in Training (OITs) for its Fracturing department. This program offers entry-level opportunities within field operating teams, providing paid Class 1 Mandatory Entry Level Training (MELT), guaranteed base compensation, and a competitive job revenue bonus. The program includes position-specific and Class 1 driver's license training, with exposure to district and field operations under the guidance of a mentor. Upon successful completion, trainees will become qualified oilfield operators, dedicated to safety and teamwork.
Requirements
- Must live and work in Medicine Hat, AB
- Valid Alberta Class 3 or 5 driver’s license – No GDL and satisfactory Drivers Abstract
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Experience operating a manual transmission preferred
- Previous industry related experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Complete all requirements of the Operator in Training (OIT) program
- Assist maintenance in the shop as required
- Follow all Health, Safety, and Environment policies & procedures
- Work outside in all weather conditions with a diverse team
