About The Position

ConServ Building Services is urgently hiring a commercial lead HVACR installer. The position involves working on installations across North and South Carolina, with a company van and gas card provided. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with no weekend work. The role includes reading plans and submittals, estimating and ordering materials, coordinating installations with other trades, installing ductwork and mechanical equipment, and communicating completed work using a company tablet. Copper brazing, equipment startup, and troubleshooting are described as a plus.

Requirements

At least 4 years of experience in the HVAC trade.
EPA certification.
Refrigeration knowledge.
Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations.
Ability to work independently.
Must pass a criminal background check and an on-site drug test.
Clean driving record and a valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

Copper brazing experience.
Equipment startup and troubleshooting experience.

Responsibilities

Read and comprehend drawings, scopes, and equipment submittals.
Apply knowledge of local mechanical codes for estimating and inspections.
Estimate job pricing, perform material takeoffs, and order materials needed to complete jobs.
Lay out ductwork for installation and coordinate with other trades.
Install sheet metal, fibrous board and flex duct, dampers, and air devices.
Measure and draw sheet metal duct fittings for ordering.
Hang and set exhaust fans, louvers, units, and other mechanical equipment.
Hang copper, PVC, and piping hangers for refrigerant, condensate, and chilled-water piping.
Insulate ductwork with exterior fiberglass wrap.
Install low-voltage control wiring for thermostats, dampers, heaters, and other control devices.
Communicate completed work daily through a company tablet.
Travel between North and South Carolina.
