We are looking for energetic, motivated, and career-minded Installers and Service Technicians to be responsible for performing onsite installations, service, and repairs in residential homes. We want our Technicians to become masters of their trade and always give customers the red carpet treatment, advising them on potential services or treatments that work for them. This job description is intended to outline the general responsibilities and qualifications for the Technician positions and is not an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities, and skills required. Other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years recent HVAC experience with exposure to furnaces, central and ductless air conditioners, gas boilers, water heaters including tankless heaters.
  • Valid Gas Fitter Two License.
  • Residential Air Conditioning License (Journeyman or RedSeal).
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean record.
  • Clear criminal record.
  • Demonstrated strong technical, customer service skills and company metrics in current and previous roles.
  • Comfortable working from heights and using a ladder.
  • An accountable and responsible personality, delivering high customer satisfaction and has a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively within a team environment, completing the installation and commissioning of HVAC elements.

Responsibilities

  • Performing onsite installations, service, and repairs in residential homes.
  • Ensuring customers' heating, ventilation, and air-condition equipment meets or exceeds the Technical Standards & Safety Authority’s codes and municipal building codes and standards.
  • Following all Energy Star installation processes and procedures.
  • Educating customers on proper care and maintenance and promoting all various HVAC options.
  • Completing general and specific HVAC equipment inspections.
  • Maintaining a clean, fully stocked vehicle.
  • Promoting products and services on every call.
  • Providing a five-star experience on every call or making it right before leaving the customer's home.
  • Requesting online reviews from customers.
  • Contributing to high standards of health and safety.
  • Lead generation and CPP enrolments.
