About The Position

The HVAC Install Technician helps ensure the comfort and safety of residents in multi-family and residential properties by maintaining, repairing, and installing HVAC systems in accordance with company standards and industry best practices. The role also involves serving residents, keeping service records, coordinating with property staff, staying current with industry practices, and organizing inventory.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 4 years of experience as an HVAC service technician, focused on multi-family residential properties.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including troubleshooting, repair, and installation techniques.
- Familiarity with tools and equipment used in HVAC maintenance and repair.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently, with attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Nice To Haves
- Technical training or certification in HVAC repair and installation.
- EPA certification for handling refrigerants.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, install, and repair air conditioning, ventilation, and heating systems in multi-family residential properties to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues and recommend necessary repairs or replacements.
- Repair and replace HVAC components, including compressors, motors, thermostats, and coils.
- Address resident inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and installations.
- Coordinate HVAC service schedules with property managers and maintenance staff to minimize disruption to residents.
- Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to HVAC systems.
- Categorize and organize inventory to limit unnecessary company losses.
