Requirements
- More than 3 years’ experience in the field of HVAC service and repair.
- Qualified and skilled in maintaining and servicing commercial grade HVAC equipment including but not limited to unitary products up to 50-ton package units, boilers, and heat exchangers without supervision.
- Possess EPA certification.
- Must have a good driving record and possess a valid driver's license and EPA license.
- Ability to frequently lift 30lbs and occasionally lift 50lbs.
- Must be able to pass a DFW Airport background check and obtain DFW Airport badge clearance.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Stultz and Liebert units.
- Previous experience assisting in the service of chillers, boilers, control valves, and cooling towers on supervised projects.
Responsibilities
- Service a wide range of equipment using various troubleshooting techniques for all sizes of commercial package units, water source heat pumps, mini-splits, and/or VRF systems.
- Assist, when needed, in the service of chillers, boilers, control valves, and cooling towers on supervised projects.
- Use cutting edge software and technology, along with a variety of hand-tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units.
- Provide all information from each service call to the dispatcher before leaving job site and document work by accurately completing paperwork and maintaining files.
- Continually enforce safety to the highest standards and maintain security and accountability of company issued and procured assets by recording use, wear and conditions.
- Take an active role in ensuring a level of customer satisfaction that is above and beyond customer expectations.
- Be available to work weekends and evenings for the emergency service needs of our customers on a rotational basis.
