About The Position
An HVAC Teardown (I) at Lennox AES in Weatherford, Texas, is responsible for the safe and efficient recovery and reclamation of parts from HVAC systems. The role supports environmental sustainability by ensuring HVAC components are handled, recycled, and disposed of properly and in compliance with applicable industry regulations. The position is hourly and non-exempt, with a starting pay rate of $18.50 per hour. Eligible employees may earn overtime for hours worked over 40 in a week, or as otherwise required by state law.
Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work with dust and oil.
- Ability to use hand and power tools, including metal-cutting saws.
- Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to lift and move moderate to heavy objects.
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
- Ability to handle and sort different materials.
- Previous manufacturing or construction experience.
- Basic understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.
- High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigerants, and their environmental impact.
Responsibilities
- Follow established procedures and guidelines to ensure efficient and thorough recovery.
- Handle and sort materials through the reclamation process.
- Identify and address potential equipment issues during recovery.
- Comply with environmental and safety standards in all reclamation activities.
- Cross-train and assist in other areas depending on workload.
