HVAC Teardown
About The Position
An HVAC Teardown (I) at Lennox AES in Weatherford, Texas, is responsible for safely and efficiently recovering and reclaiming parts from HVAC systems. The role supports environmental sustainability through proper handling, recycling, and disposal of HVAC components in compliance with industry regulations. The position follows established recovery procedures, handles and sorts materials through the reclamation process, identifies potential equipment issues, and complies with environmental and safety standards. The employee may cross-train and assist in other areas depending on workload. This is an hourly, non-exempt role with a starting pay rate of $18.50 per hour. Overtime is available for hours worked over 40 in a week, or as required by state law.
Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work with dust and oil.
- Ability to use hand and power tools, including metal-cutting saws.
- Ability to lift and move moderate to heavy objects.
- Ability to handle and sort different materials.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Positive attitude and ability to work as a team player.
- Previous manufacturing or construction experience.
- Basic understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.
- High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigerants, and their environmental impact.
