About The Position

T-Mark Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electric is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join their team in Buffalo, NY. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, problem-solving, and providing excellent customer service to homeowners. The technician will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various residential HVAC systems, as well as educating customers on their equipment and maintenance options.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of residential HVAC service experience
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience servicing furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, oil heating systems, mini-splits, and RTUs
  • EPA Certification required
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Must have your own basic HVAC hand tools
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
  • Weekend on-call availability on a rotating schedule

  • EPA Universal Certification
  • NATE Certification
  • Experience using ServiceTitan
  • Experience with indoor air quality products and humidification systems
  • Experience recommending repairs, accessories, or replacement options to homeowners

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance on heating and cooling equipment
  • Service and maintain: Furnaces, Air Conditioners, Heat Pumps, Boilers, Oil Heating Systems, Ductless Mini-Split Systems, Rooftop Units (RTUs)
  • Identify system issues and recommend repair or replacement solutions
  • Educate homeowners on equipment performance, maintenance plans, and energy-saving opportunities
  • Deliver an outstanding customer experience on every service call
  • Complete service documentation accurately
  • Communicate professionally with customers, dispatchers, and teammates
  • Maintain your company vehicle, tools, and equipment
  • Participate in ongoing technical training
  • Participate in a rotating weekend on-call schedule
