About The Position

An HVAC Service Technician at ASP troubleshoots and repairs HVAC equipment and provides customers with appropriate solutions. The role includes in-home service and maintenance work, building customer rapport, and coordinating with dispatch, managers, and other staff to support smooth job completion. Technicians are dispatched from home and return home at the end of the day. Schedule selection may vary based on availability. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is paid in weekly installments of $500, beginning after 60 days of employment and continuing for 20 weeks. Eligibility requires at least three years of relevant experience. The posted pay range is $50,000–$110,000 per year.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license and clean driving and criminal records.
At least three years of field experience in residential HVAC service.
Communicate professionally, clearly, and concisely with team members, management, and customers by phone and email.
Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb stairs and ladders, and work in small spaces.
Attention to detail and ability to follow through.
Motivated, flexible, and positive attitude.
Outgoing personality suited to a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.
Ability to multitask and solve problems with a sense of urgency.
Arrive on time, maintain a clean presentation, meet the dress code, and be prepared to work each day.

Responsibilities

Complete general in-home HVAC service and maintenance calls.
Build customer rapport and sell appropriate products and services.
Coordinate with dispatch, managers, and other in-house staff to ensure smooth operations for completed and incomplete jobs.
Keep the work truck clean and inventoried, and leave jobsites clean or cleaner than upon arrival.
Troubleshoot HVAC equipment and provide accurate solutions to customers.
