Requirements

  • 5+ years of commercial refrigeration service experience.
  • Strong experience with low-temperature refrigeration systems.
  • EPA Universal Certification.
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Experience troubleshooting electrical controls and refrigeration circuits.
  • Valid Arizona driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in the field.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Commercial HVAC service experience.
  • Knowledge of EMS, controls, and building automation systems.
  • Experience with rack systems and advanced refrigeration controls.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
  • Factory certifications from major manufacturers.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration equipment, including: Walk-in coolers and freezers, Reach-in coolers and freezers, Ice machines, Refrigerated display cases, Prep tables and specialty refrigeration equipment
  • Service and maintain low-temperature refrigeration systems.
  • Perform refrigeration leak detection, refrigerant recovery, charging, and repairs.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control system issues.
  • Service commercial HVAC equipment including rooftop units, split systems, heat pumps, and package units.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and identify potential equipment failures before they occur.
  • Accurately complete service reports, work orders, and documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding findings, recommendations, and repair options.
  • Maintain a safe work environment and comply with all company and OSHA safety requirements.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation as needed.
