About The Position

This technician performs field activities supporting the installation, maintenance, and servicing of heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems for commercial customers. The role handles basic, non-complex products and problems, referring more complex issues to higher-level technicians. It uses experience and technical skills in preventive maintenance and system operations to determine service requirements. The technician works in a team-based environment, shares information and workload, and helps ensure customer satisfaction. The role requires safe work practices and flexibility to work overtime and weekends as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2 to 6 years of hands-on commercial HVAC experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site preventive maintenance, routine repairs, and calibration after installation.
• Handle basic, non-complex products and problems, referring more complex issues to higher-level technicians.
• Use experience and technical skills in preventive maintenance and system operations to determine service requirements.
• Advise the manager of preventive maintenance inspections performed and corrective actions to be taken.
• Work in a team-based environment to share information and workload while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Work safely and ensure safety measures are followed at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Work overtime and weekends as required.
