Requirements

  • At least 1 year in HVAC residential service
  • At least 2 years of general sales experience
  • Proven experience selling HVAC systems and closing deals
  • Proven experience sizing equipment and performing load calculations
  • EPA Universal Certification (required)
  • Valid Washington Driver's License with a clean driving record
  • Sales mindset - you love helping customers and driving revenue growth
  • Strong ability to diagnose and repair HVAC systems
  • Active listener who can explain complex technical issues simply
  • Well organized with the ability to work independently
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to learn
  • Strong interpersonal and phone skills

Responsibilities

  • Perform tune-ups, maintenance, and repairs on furnaces, ACs, heat pumps, and ductwork during service calls
  • Engage homeowners with a friendly, professional demeanor. Build rapport and trust instantly through honest technical assessment
  • Identify upgrade opportunities while completing service work and clearly communicate the value of new systems
  • Ensure every customer leaves with a smile, a fully functional system, and a clear understanding of their comfort options
  • Diagnose heating, cooling, and air quality issues in the field
  • Perform necessary repairs and maintenance on existing equipment
  • Design comfort solutions that fit the home and budget
  • Recommend additional upgrades when appropriate based on your diagnostic findings
  • Present proposals and close sales opportunities on-site
  • Size equipment accurately to match home requirements and load calculations
