Requirements

EPA Section 608 Certification (required)
TDLR HVAC Certification (required)
Sharp instincts for HVAC, electrical, and refrigerant systems
An eye for detail and a knack for troubleshooting the tricky stuff
A valid driver's license and a clean driving record

Experience with smart home energy management systems

Responsibilities

Diagnose, repair, and maintain high-efficiency residential HVAC systems
Assess needs, walk through options, and build a solution that actually fits during in-home consultations
Present proposals that make sense, covering efficiency, comfort, incentives, and financing in plain English
Team up with solar and energy specialists to design whole-home systems
Keep every install and service call sharp, code-compliant, and safe
Manage paperwork, including service records and customer notes
Bring professionalism to every doorstep and conversation
Help build the HVAC division from the ground floor, with opportunities for leadership and strategy
