Experienced HVAC Retrofit Installer
About The Position
Grant Mechanical is seeking an HVAC Retrofit Installer to service and install HVAC equipment in residential and commercial applications. The role focuses on replacing and upgrading older heating, cooling, and ventilation systems with modern, more efficient equipment. Installations may include air conditioners, furnaces, boilers, ductless systems, and water heaters, as well as components such as electric motors and heat pumps. The installer also integrates related equipment, including intake fans, humidifiers, and rooftop units, to ensure complete systems function effectively. Grant Mechanical is a growing, 24/7 emergency service facility offering consistent year-round work and overtime opportunities for after-hours calls. The company provides tools, travel pay both ways to and from jobs, and other employee benefits and support.
Requirements
- Some boiler experience.
- At least 2 years of experience with current HVAC equipment, including light commercial equipment.
- Valid driver license.
- Insurable driving record.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to communicate with customers.
- Familiarity with HVAC wiring diagrams.
- Ability to lift 50 or more pounds.
- Ability to work in confined spaces and in all types of weather.
Responsibilities
