About The Position

Northbridge University is seeking qualified HVAC Adjunct Instructors to join our growing campuses. The Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration (HVAC/R) Diploma Program prepares students with the knowledge and skills to become efficient, safety-minded technicians for entry-level positions in the HVAC field. Graduates will acquire skills for installation, service, and repairs of heating, refrigeration, and air conditioning equipment, and will be prepared to take EPA and OSHA certifications. The instructor will be responsible for creating, delivering, and evaluating engaging courses within the HVAC trade curriculum, fostering a positive and inspiring learning environment. Duties include teaching, directing, and coordinating academic activities, providing students with the knowledge and skills for employment, and creating a positive, nurturing, and effective classroom environment to retain and graduate students.

Requirements

• Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Certification.
• Technical Degree or Diploma and a minimum of 1 year of related work experience in the field of study.
• Official academic transcripts of all degrees are required.
• Minimum of 2 years of successful teaching experience.
• A minimum of 1 year of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Creating, delivering, and evaluating engaging courses throughout our HVAC trade curriculum.
• Nurturing a positive and inspiring learning environment for our students.
• Teaching, directing, and coordinating academic or academic-related activities.
• Providing students with the knowledge and skills necessary to gain employment in their chosen field of study.
• Utilizing teaching skills, experience, and abilities to create a positive, nurturing, and effective classroom environment to actively retain and successfully graduate students from their program of study.
