About The Position

Johnson Controls is seeking a skilled HVAC Serviceman with experience in residential, light commercial, industrial, and/or commercial mechanical equipment. The role focuses on commercial HVACR service, including maintenance, repair, and replacement of light commercial heating and cooling systems. Servicemen may be required to pass an examination to identify special skills.

The company offers factory certification through its Service Technical Academy (STA), milestone recognition and monetary rewards, advancement opportunities, increased incentive opportunities for executed pull-through work, technology and equipment, uniforms, a focus on employee safety, tools, and a vehicle. Compensation is $22.56 per hour, as determined by the applicable collective bargaining agreement (CBA) or rate sheet. Benefits are provided through a local labor union aligned with a collective bargaining agreement.

Requirements

• Practical working experience with residential, light commercial, industrial, and/or commercial mechanical equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• EPA Refrigeration certification.
