About The Position

Sobieski New Homes of Richmond, VA is looking to hire a full-time Residential New Construction HVAC Mechanic to win repeat business by doing quality installations and Startups of heating and cooling systems in residential new construction homes. Requirements

• Licensed as a journeyman (preferred) OR 3+ years of new home construction experience
• Knowledge of applicable state codes
• Hands-on knowledge of residential HVAC construction
• Valid driver's license
• Acceptable driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work outside in a variety of weather conditions, from heights, and in tight spaces
• Have own hand tools regularly used by HVAC mechanics
• Good communication skills
• Self-motivated and career-minded
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Ability to deal courteously and tactfully with customers and fellow workers in the construction trades
• Ability to mentor others
• Commitment to doing quality work and motivation to continually improve skills
