Position Summary The HVAC Location Manager is responsible for overseeing and leading all aspects of the HVAC Department at our Jonesboro location. This role requires a strong operational leader who can successfully manage department performance, develop team members, drive revenue growth, ensure customer satisfaction, and maintain the highest standards of quality and professionalism. The ideal candidate is an experienced HVAC leader who can balance field operations, team development, customer relations, financial accountability, and strategic growth initiatives while fostering a culture of excellence.

Requirements

  • Excellent knowledge of residential HVAC service, installation, and operations.
  • Proven leadership experience managing HVAC teams, departments, or operations.
  • Strong troubleshooting and technical knowledge of HVAC systems.
  • Experience recruiting, hiring, training, and developing team members.
  • Ability to analyze performance metrics and implement improvement strategies.
  • Live within 30 miles of Jonesboro, GA.
  • Drug-free with a clean background and driving record.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Growth-oriented and able to work effectively with others.
  • Passionate about HVAC and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Willing to work Saturdays and occasional off-hours as business needs require.
  • Willing to attend ongoing training and leadership development programs.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the HVAC Service and Installation Departments.
  • Ensure department goals, revenue targets, profitability objectives, and customer satisfaction standards are achieved.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and department performance.
  • Maintain accountability for staffing levels, scheduling, dispatch coordination, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement action plans to drive continuous improvement.
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, and retain top HVAC talent.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop service technicians, installers, and field supervisors.
  • Conduct ride-alongs, performance reviews, and ongoing training initiatives.
  • Promote a positive, team-oriented culture focused on accountability, growth, and customer service.
  • Identify future leaders within the organization and support career development opportunities.
  • Provide advanced HVAC technical support and troubleshooting guidance.
  • Serve as a resource for technicians and management regarding complex service situations.
  • Ensure adherence to company standards, industry best practices, and safety protocols.
  • Maintain high-quality workmanship across all HVAC services and installations.
  • Resolve escalated customer concerns with professionalism and urgency.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and uphold TE Certified's reputation for excellence.
  • Ensure customer service standards are consistently met across all HVAC operations.
  • Manage departmental budgets, profitability, and operational expenses.
  • Drive revenue growth through service, replacement, maintenance, and sales opportunities.
  • Analyze department performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with company leadership to support strategic initiatives and market growth.
  • Assist and complete other duties as assigned.
