In this vital role, you will perform advanced maintenance, repair, and installation of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and related mechanical systems. Your expertise will ensure our customers receive reliable, efficient service while supporting the growth of our company through your technical excellence and proactive approach to leading the service team!

Requirements

  • At least 7+ years of residential HVAC service technician experience with a strong background in HVAC systems, refrigeration.
  • Extensive knowledge of HVAC/R equipment including boilers, air conditioning units, refrigeration systems.
  • Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams confidently.
  • Mechanical skills with proficiency in equipment repair, welding, and maintenance procedures.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Familiarity with tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic instruments used in troubleshooting electrical components.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex HVAC and mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
  • Perform installation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, ammonia refrigeration equipment, and other mechanical components.
  • Read and interpret HVAC design plans and schematics to execute precise system modifications or upgrades.
  • Conduct field service visits to residential and light commercial properties. Perform appliance repairs, maintenance tasks, or system replacements.
  • Maintain detailed service records, complete work orders accurately, and document all repairs performed.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards and industry regulations while providing excellent customer service.
  • Educate customers and use soft skills for sale opportunities.
  • Lead, support, and mentor a small HVAC service team!
