About The Position

One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning of Corpus Christi, an affiliate of Authority Brands, is hiring experienced Lead Installation Technicians. The company has operated in the area for almost 40 years and is under new management. Technicians install and start up heating and cooling systems, perform limited diagnostics, communicate with customers, and train apprentices. The role offers competitive piece-rate pay, a loyal customer base, and a variety of work schedules.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 2 years of residential installation experience with solid references.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

EPA certification preferred but not required.
NATE certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Install HVAC equipment and accessories.
Design, fabricate, and install ducts and duct fittings.
Perform start-ups on heating and cooling systems.
Perform limited diagnostics.
Accurately complete installation forms.
Conduct before-and-after walkthroughs of the entire home with customers.
Explain the scope of the job to customers and address their questions and concerns.
Train apprentices on various aspects of the job.
