HVAC Laborer
About The Position
We are looking for an HVAC Laborer to work closely with the job site Foreman to install heating, air conditioning and ventilating systems. This includes heavy, physical tasks, working with power tools, and working in challenging conditions. The helper is expected to learn all areas of the trade. Capitol Mechanical Inc. is a full service commercial HVAC contractor serving Wisconsin since 1971. We are an established company with many key employees working here for over 20 years. Requirements
- Mechanical ability, especially use of hands.
- Understanding of power tools.
- Understanding of basic mathematics.
- Strong communication skills.
- Means to get to job sites, including multiple locations in the same day.
Nice To Haves
- A high school diploma or a general education degree is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist in collecting and fabricating/assembling of materials including ductwork and piping
- Assist in the loading/unloading and distribution of materials and equipment.
- Assist in installation of equipment.
- Keeping the job site clean and orderly.
- Fulfill additional tasks assigned by the job foreman.
