About The Position

Dave's World is hiring an experienced HVAC Installer to install residential heat pump systems, with an emphasis on ducted installations. The role involves working directly with homeowners and completing installations safely, professionally, and to high quality standards. Requirements

• At least 4 years of residential HVAC installation experience.
• Strong experience with ducted system installations.
• Metalworking and sheet metal fabrication skills.
• EPA 608 Certification.
• Skill in cutting openings and modifying spaces for HVAC installations.
• Experience with ducted system design and layout.
• Comfort communicating directly with customers and explaining installation work.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and pride in quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Install residential heat pump systems, including ducted systems and ceiling cassette units.
• Install branch boxes and refrigerant piping.
• Perform ductwork installations, metal fabrication, and related sheet metal work.
• Cut and modify openings as needed for equipment and ductwork installations.
• Assist with ducted system design and layout.
• Complete installations that meet manufacturer specifications.
• Start up and test systems to ensure proper operation.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners throughout the installation process.
• Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe.
• Complete installation documentation using company software.
