About The Position

ConServ Building Services is urgently hiring an HVAC Installer. The role installs heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in new commercial construction and tenant offices. Installers work independently on new HVAC systems, complete daily paperwork documenting materials used, wire basic low-voltage HVAC components, fabricate duct fittings, and read blueprints to lay out ductwork. ConServ Building Services was founded in 1991 as the service division of BCH Mechanical. The company began dispatching HVAC technicians in the Tampa Bay, Florida area and expanded its services across Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, and Alabama. It serves regional clients with multiple accounts, convenience stores, and customers who prefer remote monitoring and control. Requirements

5 to 10 years of commercial HVAC installation experience.
Mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate, or learn to operate, all necessary tools and equipment.
Ability to frequently lift 75 pounds and regularly lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Sufficient physical ability to work in awkward places and from ladders or scaffolding as required by projects.
Physical ability to endure high and low outside temperatures.
Must pass a criminal background check and an on-site drug test.
Must have a clean driving record and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Install heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in new commercial construction and tenant offices.
Complete daily paperwork accurately, recording materials used on each job.
Independently install new HVAC systems.
Wire basic HVAC low-voltage components, including furnaces, air conditioners, thermostats, and zone controls.
Fabricate duct fittings.
Read blueprints and lay out ductwork.
