About The Position

IRBIS Air Plumbing Electrical is hiring an HVAC Installer Lead for residential installation work in San Jose, California. The role installs furnaces, heat pumps, mini-splits, air conditioners, ductwork, and indoor air quality accessories. Installers are expected to deliver clean, efficient, code-compliant work, help customers understand how to use and maintain new equipment, and contribute to customer satisfaction and retention. The schedule is full-time, Monday–Friday or Monday–Saturday, with 9–12-hour shifts and weekend availability. Requirements

At least 1 year of experience as an HVAC Installer.
Provide own hand tools.
Ability to handle a physical workload.
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Install furnaces, heat pumps, mini-splits, air conditioners, and ductwork in residential settings.
Install indoor air quality accessories and complete clean, efficient, code-compliant installations.
Educate customers on using and maintaining their new equipment.
Work with an installation team to complete jobs efficiently and accurately.
Complete detailed reports and maintain records of completed work.
Follow safety policies and procedures at every job site.
