About The Position

R & T Yoder Electric, Plumbing, & HVAC, Inc. is hiring a full-time, experienced HVAC Installation Technician in Columbus, Ohio. The technician installs and removes HVAC systems, performs maintenance, works with residential and/or commercial systems, and communicates with customers. The position pays up to $50 per hour depending on experience and offers a $3,000 sign-on bonus. Qualified applicants may also receive monthly bonuses, a company vehicle, and uniforms.

Requirements

• More than four years of HVAC field experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of residential and/or commercial HVAC systems and local codes.
• Understanding of refrigeration cycles.
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• Ability to troubleshoot and explain technical information clearly in layman's terms.
• Self-motivation, strong communication and service orientation, and ability to establish rapport with people.
• Respect for others and their property, punctuality, reliability, and pride in one's work.

Responsibilities

• Remove old HVAC systems.
