About The Position

R & T Yoder Electric, Plumbing, & HVAC, Inc. is hiring a full-time experienced HVAC Installation Technician in Columbus, Ohio. The role involves removing old HVAC systems, installing new systems, performing routine maintenance, and supporting customers. Compensation is up to $50 per hour depending on experience, with a $3,000 sign-on bonus for qualified applicants. Requirements

• At least 4 years of HVAC field experience.
• Knowledge of residential and/or commercial HVAC systems and local codes.
• Understanding of refrigeration cycles.
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting ability.
• Self-motivation.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain technical information clearly in layman's terms.
• Service-oriented approach and ability to establish rapport with people.
• Respect for others and their personal property.
• Punctuality, reliability, and pride in one's work.

Responsibilities

• Remove old HVAC systems.
• Install new HVAC systems.
• Perform routine maintenance.
• Train junior team members.
• Communicate with clients and customers.
• Order and maintain equipment.
• Run pipe and duct systems through homes.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams.
• Interpret technical data such as pressure and temperature.
