About The Position

GEORGE SHERMAN CORPORATION has immediate opening for HVAC Installation Technician in Sussex County and the surrounding areas. Successful applicants should have a thorough knowledge of HVAC systems and applications, as well as duct work design and a working knowledge of industry safety standards, best practices, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills. Applicants must also be willing to continually learn about the latest in HVAC technology and application.

Requirements

• Universal EPA certification
• Education & experience in the HVAC industry
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check & a DOT drug test
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Possess a positive attitude & have a good attention for details
• HVAC basic & specific hand tools
• Customer service skills & the ability to effectively communicate with customers

Responsibilities

• Removing old systems
• Installing new systems
• Performing routine maintenance
• Training junior team members
• Communicating with clients and customers
• Ordering and maintaining equipment
• Meeting local HVAC codes
