Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of residential HVAC installation experience
- Valid local driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong mechanical aptitude and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently, make informed decisions, and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Proficiency in the safe use and maintenance of HVAC tools and equipment
- Must pass a drug screen, background check, and motor vehicle record review
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and make appropriate decisions
- Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks
- Ability to work synergistically with crew partners, as well as independently and accurately
- Knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of required tools
Responsibilities
- Perform HVAC installations with attention to detail and quality
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to optimize processes and ensure seamless operations
- Drive and maintain company vehicles to ensure safety and efficiency
- Serve customers by analyzing work orders, following daily travel schedules, listening to customer concerns, performing designated work, and proactively solving problems
- Cooperate with other departments to continually improve processes and information flow
- For each installation job, request necessary parts and equipment in advance and verify the truck is properly loaded with all required materials
- Document work performed in accordance with company procedures
- Provide guidance to assistants or apprentices and share knowledge
- Keep personal tools and equipment operable and up to date
- Maintain current knowledge of HVAC codes and standards
- Maintain professional conduct and appearance in all working conditions
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager
