About The Position

Ultimate Heating, Air & Plumbing is seeking a Residential HVAC Install Manager who is a strong leader of people, quality, and performance. This role is responsible for leading installation teams, ensuring top-tier workmanship, and delivering an exceptional customer experience on every job. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on leading installation teams and ensuring every job meets company standards. The manager will be in the field, supporting crews, inspecting jobs, and leading by example.

Requirements

  • 24+ years old with a valid driver’s license and insurable record
  • Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen
  • Proven experience in HVAC installation (residential preferred)
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and hold accountability
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

  • EPA certification
  • Apprentice or Journeyman License

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and hold installation teams accountable to quality and performance standards
  • Build a culture of ownership, professionalism, and results
  • Set clear expectations and ensure consistent execution
  • Ensure jobs are completed on time, to company quality standards, and with proper job site organization
  • Maximize job board efficiency and crew productivity
  • Identify gaps and drive immediate improvement
  • Train and mentor installers to maintain high workmanship standards
  • Develop team members through hands-on coaching and support
  • Reinforce best practices in installation quality and efficiency
  • Communicate professionally with customers on job progress and expectations
  • Ensure a clean, respectful, and high-quality experience on every install
  • Handle escalations with urgency and professionalism
  • Ensure proper documentation, job notes, and job completion accuracy
  • Uphold all safety protocols and company policies
  • Maintain compliance with installation standards and procedures
