About The Position

The HVAC Install Helper works closely with the Installation department and other necessary teams to provide timely, accurate installations in accordance with company standards and procedures. The role serves customers by reviewing work orders, following the daily travel schedule, listening to customer concerns, performing assigned work, and proactively solving problems.

The helper prepares for installation jobs by requesting required parts and equipment in advance and confirming that the truck is properly loaded with the materials needed to complete each job. The position also documents work according to company procedures, maintains current knowledge of HVAC codes and standards, and conducts themselves professionally in all working conditions. Other duties may be assigned by a supervisor or manager.

The role requires basic HVAC knowledge, physical dexterity, a good work ethic, and willingness to learn new methods. Candidates must pass a motor vehicle check, background check, and drug screen. The posted pay rate is $22.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Installation department and other necessary teams to provide timely and accurate installations in accordance with company standards and procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Review work orders, follow the daily travel schedule, listen to customer concerns, perform assigned work, and proactively solve problems.
• Request necessary parts and equipment in advance for each installation job and verify that the truck is loaded with the materials needed to complete the job.
• Document work performed in accordance with company procedures.
• Maintain current knowledge of HVAC codes and standards.
• Maintain professional conduct and appearance in all working conditions.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by a supervisor or manager.
