About The Position

Roby Services is seeking a motivated, hardworking HVAC Apprentice for its Home Services Division in Charlotte, North Carolina. The role is for someone eager to learn the HVAC trade and gain hands-on experience alongside experienced professionals, with the opportunity to develop into a skilled technician. The apprentice supports residential HVAC installations, maintenance, and repairs while learning the company’s standards for quality, safety, and customer care. Training includes on-the-job learning and Nexstar Network development resources.

Responsibilities

• Assist technicians with installing and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential properties.
• Learn to measure, cut, and assemble ductwork and piping accurately and safely.
• Support system startups, testing, and verification of proper operation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.
• Participate actively in training sessions and on-the-job learning.
• Gain familiarity with HVAC tools, components, and best practices.
• Learn to read and interpret blueprints and technical instructions.
• Develop troubleshooting and problem-solving skills under supervision.
• Communicate professionally and respectfully with clients and coworkers.
• Represent Roby Services’ standards of craftsmanship and customer care on every job.
• Support team members in completing projects on time and within budget.
