About The Position

PV Heating, Cooling & Plumbing is seeking an HVAC Apprentice to develop a career in the HVAC trade while assisting experienced technicians with residential heating and cooling work. The apprentice will learn to diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC systems, safely use tools and equipment, and provide quality customer service in customers’ homes. The role includes ongoing training and professional development, as well as maintaining clean, organized, and safe work areas. Requirements

Must have completed HVAC school or an accredited HVAC training program; candidates still enrolled and not yet finished will not be considered.
EPA certification is required, and proof must be provided upon request.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50+ lbs as needed.
Ability to work at indoor and outdoor job sites and in varying weather conditions.
Ability to safely operate tools and equipment and follow safety guidelines and PPE requirements.
Dependable, punctual, and able to work collaboratively as a team player.
Detail-oriented, with pride in quality workmanship.
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills.
Coachable, motivated, and eager to build a career in the HVAC trade.
Positive attitude, professionalism, and willingness to help wherever needed.

Responsibilities

Assist experienced HVAC technicians with residential heating and cooling service, maintenance, and installations.
