About The Position

Language Trainers is an international language training company working with freelance teachers of 99+ languages in hundreds of cities worldwide. Founded in 2004, our motto is Any Language, Anytime, Anywhere (and Online).
We provide customized language training to professionals and private students for work, family, and travel purposes.
We are currently looking for a freelance Hungarian teacher for one of our clients in Washington, United States.
Course Type: General
Format: one-to-one
Total Hours: 20
Session length: two-hours
Location: Trainer's office or public location in Washington (20001)
Student Level: Beginner
Student Age Group: 25-34
Student's Schedule: once per week, (Mondays and Tuesdays. Morning is preferred between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.)
Student's Preferred Start Date: 2026-09-14
Student's Motivation: I am learning Hungarian to better communicate with my partner in his native language. I'm also preparing to move to Hungary in the future and would like to be more comfortable with the language before going.

Requirements

• Native Hungarian speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification
• Experience as a language teacher, translator or interpreter
• Valid work permit/visa
• Live within 20 miles of the specified location (Washington, 20001)
• Submit CV (with references, if available)

• Submit earliest possible start date
• Meet stated conditions

Responsibilities

• Provide customized language training to professionals and private students.
• Teach Hungarian language to a beginner student.
• Conduct one-to-one sessions.
• Adapt to student's schedule and preferred learning times.
