About The Position

Language Trainers is an international language training company working with freelance teachers of 99+ languages in hundreds of cities worldwide. Founded in 2004, our motto is Any Language, Anytime, Anywhere (and Online). We provide customized language training to professionals and private students for work, family, and travel purposes. We are currently looking for a freelance Portuguese Teacher for one of our clients in Pittsburgh, United States. Course Type: Conversational Format: two-to-one Total Hours: 20 Session length: two-hours Location: Teacher's office or public location in Pittsburgh. Client's zip code is zip code 15238 Student Level: Intermediate Student Age Group: 35-44 Student's Schedule: once per week, Monday at 6 pm (preferred) or Saturday at 12 pm. Student's Motivation: My husband and I want to practice speaking because I have family in Brasil. I can already speak some and understand. I want to improve speaking correctly. My husband understands a lot because he understands and speaks some Spanish but needs to learn to speak.

Requirements

Be a native Portuguese speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification
Have experience as a language teacher, translator or interpreter
Have a valid work permit/visa
