About The Position

This position involves supervising Family Support Workers (FSWs) within the Healthy Families program, focusing on providing support, monitoring service delivery, ensuring quality assurance, coordinating training, and managing administrative tasks. The role requires building community partnerships and outreach to enhance service access for families with children aged 0-3. This is a time-limited position eligible for veteran's preference.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in the human services field or field related to working with children and families.
  • Three years of relevant experience.
  • Appropriate college coursework may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
  • Valid Driver License and Automobile Insurance.
  • Must pass a 435 Background Screening & Health Assessment.

Nice To Haves

  • Administrative and supervisory experience with human services programs.
  • Ability to provide leadership.
  • Experience in home visitation with a strong background in primary prevention services to the 0-3 age population.
  • Ability to handle and address difficult and/or sensitive situations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing supervision, coaching, and performance evaluation for assigned Family Support Workers.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, address staff concerns, and support professional development.
  • Provide weekly staff supervision meetings as required by the program.
  • Ensure staff have materials, training, and resources to perform all aspects of their role.
  • Travel to outlying counties as needed to ensure appropriate facilities, supplies, coordination of services, and supervision of staff.
  • Provide standardized communication with staff and ensure standards are met.
  • Assist FSWs with planning workload, time management, and meeting program objectives.
  • Monitor service delivery for adherence to the Healthy Families model and protocols.
  • Conduct case reviews, ensure accurate documentation, and implement quality improvement strategies.
  • Participate in annual Quality Assurance (QA) review by sponsored program.
  • Conduct quality review of assessment files/reports quarterly.
  • Complete a minimum of one quality visit per year for each assigned FSW.
  • Coordinate and facilitate onboarding and ongoing training for staff.
  • Stay current on relevant curriculum and evidence-based practices.
  • Ensure timely completion of required documentation and reports.
  • Monitor caseloads, track outcomes, support budget management, and maintain compliance with funding and program requirements.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local agencies, referral partners, and stakeholders.
  • Represent the program in community meetings and events.
