The Human Services Licensing Representative position with the Office of Developmental Programs offers a chance to support important work that helps keep community programs safe and dependable. Requirements

  • Two years of professional experience gathering and analyzing information in a social service or law enforcement program, and a bachelor’s degree; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • You must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Central Region which includes the counties of Adams, Blair, Cambria, Centre, Clinton, Columbia, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Fulton, Huntingdon, Juniata, Lancaster, Lebanon, Lycoming, Mifflin, Montour, Northumberland, Perry, Snyder, Somerset, Union, and York by the time of hire.
  • You must meet the PA residency requirement.
  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

  • Review agencies and programs to measure compliance with state regulations
  • Prepare reports that document areas of non-compliance found during visits
  • Check provider progress on correction plans through visits, calls, and document reviews
  • Assess compliance and recommend the appropriate license type for each provider
  • Explain regulations and offer advice to help providers resolve non-compliance issues
  • Conduct investigations when complaints are received about provider operations
