About The Position

The Department of Human Services (DHS) is seeking a Human Services Analyst Supervisor who is ready to lead complex policy and program development work. In this role, you will guide teams working on major behavioral health initiatives that affect programs across Pennsylvania. Your ability to analyze information and direct staff will support strong program oversight and coordination. Bring your skills to an agency focused on delivering high-quality programs, where your leadership supports important work every day. This position serves as the Section Chief for Medicaid Program Management and leads work that supports major behavioral health Medicaid policies and initiatives.

Requirements

• One year as a Human Services Analyst (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration)
• Two years of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs; and a bachelor’s degree
• An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes one year of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs
• Meet the PA residency requirement
• Be able to perform essential job functions

Responsibilities

• Direct staff assignments, set expectations, review work products, and guide employee development
• Supervise analysis of legislation and regulations and support policy development for Medicaid behavioral health programs
• Lead implementation of policies, coordinate program operations, and ensure consistent application across providers
• Review systems data to confirm accurate policy use and oversee development of data collection tools
• Evaluate program performance, address compliance concerns, and support improvements to program operations
• Guide creation of policy clarifications, bulletins, and other documents that support Medicaid program work
